Made by Nike this was the 'Superleague Australia' jersey worn by the players during their UK Tour in 1997 following the so called 'Superleague War'. The design was different because the iconic twin chevron green and gold design was owned by the ARL and they refused permission for SL Australia to use it. This particular shirt is match worn. Following the creation of the NRL the design reverted back to the more familiar one by 1998.
