The Mancunians founders shirt is in the colours of the city of Manchester.
Red represents the colours of Lancashire, the traditional county that Manchester is situated in and Gold representing the wealth of the city thanks to it's rich industrial heritage.
The red shield, the logo of the club features at the heart of the coat of arms of the City of Manchester. Red signifying Lancashire soil and gold representing the three rivers of the city - the Irk, the Irwell and the Medlock. Also featured on the logo is the blue which traditionally represents the Manchester ship canal.
